Castiron Cleo’s Dakota (Castiron Kennels D-Litter: Manny/Cleo) was whelped on 22Dec22 and lives in Minnesota. She is the first versatile hunting dog owned and trained by Natalie and Jenae. The best advice they have for anyone training a Picardy Spaniel is:
“Be patient and remember not to get caught up in whether your dog is keeping up with other litter mates. Just focus on yourself and your Picardy. They will tell you whether it’s too much or if they’re ready for more.”

There was no whoa post nor eCollar used to get Kota to “Whoa!” It’s a little blurry, but here’s Kota on “Whoa!” while doing a bit of yardwork.
